Pre Oct 2004 Retro Fit Cruise Control

Hi

Does anybody on here have the part number for the retro fit Overdrive kit that you need to put Cruise Control on a pre 2004 Z4?

Nobody uses the term 'overdrive' any more...

Now I get it, I should have said cruise control. I have now edited the posting to reflect that .

Check to see if you have the loom. If you do you only need the stalk. Silly to pay for a new cowl when it's all marked out and easy to cut.

I'd recommend getting the stalk (and loom if you need it) from Jamie at Sopers Lincoln. Mention you're from the forum and he should do you a discount. Excellent service, and the Cruise Control fit is a doddle!

My Dolomite sprint had overdrive............... Ahh happy days (when it the bag of nails ran which was infrequently!)

My GT6 is so old it don't even have overdrive !

My TR6 has it on 2nd 3rd & 4th a very worthwhile addition .So much nicer than the the 5 speed after market box that can now be fitted as an alternative. It just seems to suit the the car better.
