Potentially selling my Z4 Coupe 3.0si Sport Auto

Well as most of you know I sold my E89 for an SLK 350 and then sold that in Feb for a 3.0si Coupe.

Some of you know I had a bad accident last year and broke a few of my bones and unfortunately I am going to have both my shoulders replaced in the next few weeks, which I have been told will put me out of action for about 6-8 months.

Hence why I am on here, and would like your views on what it's worth.

It's on a 56 plate, 2006, December, with 100,500 miles. I got it with 89,000 miles and have had an excellent time with it. I also bought it with a full warranty (up to the value of the car) valid for another 18 months. It's due it's next service in 4000 miles. I promise to write more about it after this - I just want to get some opinions on price. WBAC has given me £7300 for it.....any thoughts? It's got three Kerbed wheels and a front scuffed bumper. M Sport seats etc, electric seats, no NAV or Xenons.

No but I'm going to get the wheels done and the bumper before I take it down there

I'll bet that WBAC will not give you what they've quoted even after you've done your wheels and bumper.

Do a proper advert with some decent photos and put it on here and Autotrader.

OP, sorry to hear of your medical issues - hope it all goes well.

As to the value of your car, there has been a manual Silver Z4C with red leather and 120,000 miles on Autotrader for about 2 months at £7,000, so the wbac offer doesn't look too insulting.

What might make a difference is details of the history of yours - how much is BMW main agent or specialist, was it done on schedule, etc.?

And you may not have Xenons, but do you have any other extras? CD changer, cruise, PDC, Multi-function steering wheel, upgraded stereo, cup-holders? What is the dash finish? Piano black would be great, Cirrus Aluminium good, standard brushed finish OKish (wood probably not)!

P.S. Montego Blue is my favourite colour for a Z4C, so that will help (mind you I am biased)!

Thanks guys.

Yes PDC, Cruise, Multi function and Piano inlays.

I'll do a proper advert on here and on Autotrader.

Have a good weekend guys

Last year a friend took their car to WBAC after getting an initial quote.
The guy inspecting the car went round it with a paint thickness gauge and told him what parts of the car had been repainted.
He didnt even know, it was all done before he purchased it.
