Potential Z4 owner

Hi,
I'm potentially going to get a 2012 Z4 3.0. I've scoured this forum for info and thought I should join and show my appreciation.
I have some questions about my potential purchase and will post in the relevant section.

The N52 engine is great - I've currently got my 4th, albeit in a 330i!

Welcome to the forum. I have 2010 3.0i Z4 and the engine is fantastic, one of the best BMW ever made IMO. Very reliable, powerful, great sound but like any engine it has its faults, namely oil leaks from the valve cover, oil filter housing and cooler and the oil sump. Other than that really good engine.
