saw other day someone had posted a site where you could see what specs were ordered from new.

thanks guys i need the one that starts with car reg though, as im away from my documents so have no idea what my vin is :thumbsdown:
 
If you do not have an AUC or Extended warranty on the car, then you can request a quote by entering your registration number into the warranty web site and it will tell you the VIN (provided that there hasn't been a personal plate on the car that the warranty system doesn't know about):

If you do have a warranty, then you may just need to ring the dealer who last serviced the car - they should be able to tell you.
