So.... What niche is it looking to fill? Or is it trying to create it's own "raison d'etre"? :?
Not really an alternative to a 5-series, maybe an alternative to the Maserati Quattroporte??? I dunno...
It actually sounds pretty good in the video...it doesn't really look as hideous as I thought it would.
Well...OK, it does look sort of hideous...in a bulbous, bloated sort of way...but it might grow on you...maybe... :cry:

Yes, I do wish I was blind after seeing it :P

Porsche do have a classic design in the 911 and the boxster is nice but they're attempts to get into other markets are just awful :fuelfire:
 
So so so so so disappointed with this car. I'm a huge Porsche fan (12 so far!) and a big big fan of the 928 but this thing is hideous from every angle. And i'll bet the boys at Audi are pleased that Porsche felt the need to copy those ars^%* daytime running lights. Why oh why oh why?

Porsche made condsiderably more money last year on playing the stock market with their secret options on VW shares so why can't they at least spend some of that on buying a designer from Aston Martin or Maserati?

I hope it dies a death of poor sales. I mean look at a GT2/GT3 in comparison. Arrggghh rant over!
