Lovely car for £16k....this or a similar low mile Z4M....tricky one :? That boxer 6 behind your head does make a lovely noise! GLWTS.

Thanks, always though they were similar cars in terms of performance, Zed a bit quicker though, and much rarer, wonder which one handles better??

The Porka I would say is the better handling car (comparing the convertibles)

Not sure about that. Looks like the last of the 295ps gen 1 987 to me. The gen 2 cars from Nov 2008 had 310ps and the LED's built into the front spoiler.... Porsche_Boxster_S_(987,_Facelift).jpg

Hi Shawna

No extended warranty I bought it privately, its on the original clutch which is fine, the bearing can be changed easily when the clutch is replaced my understanding is the IMS RMS problem is more common on the 2000-2005 cars, and it effects up to 5% of cars. This is my 4th Porsche so checked it out as far as possible, no leaks underneath, and its a very well cared for car.

Shawna

Please see below re IMS RMS, (according to Peter Morgan, Porsche have completed a significant number of revisons to the RMS bearing and by 2007 this problem was gone. The IMS bearing was also updated at the end of 2006)

many thanks Bruce
