I bought mine from 205/55-16 91H JINYU YW51 WINTER TYRE 2055516 205 55 16 SNOW TYRES X 4 in November and found the service great! I bought a set of alloys specifically for these so dead easy to change when I think the time is right, all in all £240!

They have put the prices up now (demand must have increased)

Get yourself a set in summer!

Not got them on the zed which stayed on the drive since Friday night but my parents have them on their megane drove it today drove round the local industrial estate for some untreated roads and it just pulled no wheel spin etc....superb

One caveat though. They won't make you invincible. See that all the time with inexperienced drivers in 4x4's. They usually just get stuck further from help or had nasty shunts figuring it was ok to drive the 'motorway' at full speed cause they have four wheel drive.

In my opinion, you should have a full set of winters on at least one car in your household!

Got them on 1 of ours - the Roadster S (easier to source for than the D3BT, and easier to drive in snow). Had no snow here at all, but on the frosty roads last week -- superb. Tried them in heavy rain, too...much less aquaplaning. Would I again? Definitely :!:

Couldn't agree more! I moved over to let a 4X4 past that was up my arse. Because they can get going they must 'assume' they can stop! Theirs no quick fix for idiots!
