I could tell you,But then I'd have to kill you!!
My sister sent me this e mail, her daughter has been sent back to Iraq for a second tour the list below are solders that have received no
mail from family or friends since they were deployed. Please read the following and help if you can, send letters, cards, whatever you can
some get nothing from their family, that makes for a very lonely Christmas in a very difficult situation. Please help!

Not long ago, my daughter sent me a list of all of the soldiers in her unit that were shipped to Camp Slayer with her and I sent Christmas cards to all of them. Today I received an email from Kat telling me that everyone had received their Christmas cards, but that Danielle Hays had decided not to open hers until Christmas day in case she didn't get anything from her family. She was holding my card in reserve just in case it was the only thing she got for Christmas. That just broke my heart. I sat here and cried my eyes out. I now have a list of everyone in Kat's unit who got redeployed to Camp Slayer as well as everyone in Kat's unit who got redeployed to Camp Liberty. I want to make sure that everyone in her unit, in both camps, gets as many cards and/or packages as possible, as no one should go through Christmas without receiving anything from home. I just can't stand that thought. If you have any leftover cards from this year, last year, or any year, I know where you can send them. Spread a little cheer to our soldiers in Iraq. Here is the list:

I remember those days, it is hard when deployed and wondering how Xmas/Thanksgiving/Birthday/etc. day is going to go. The only family around is your unit, and it does mean something to the individual to know that they our thought about by others. Great idea zee42, and thanks for sharing the list with us

Quick update for ya. I just got back from a trip (cargo) where I was honored with the job of delivering just over 64,000 pounds of Christmas cards, letters, and videos to the deployed troops. So thanks to all of you who sent anything to those troops!!! You have no idea what it means to them until you've been there and recieved a letter or card from a caring stranger or family member or friend. It's a HUGE morale booster!

P.S. zee42 - with that timing, that letter was probably on my jet.. how kewl is that!!! :D

I am doing my Christmas cards this weekend and will send whatever I have left and even a few more...

I spent 2 birthdays, 2 Thanksgivings and 2 Christmas' in the Nam....nothing was better than hearing from peeps from the world(home). I'll be mailing a few to them fo sho.

I know that it is a little late, but my daughter's Girl Scout troup met yesterday and made cards for everyone on the list. We'll get them in the mail on Monday morning.

THANK'S to everyone who helped out,It's going to mean a lot to those folks, and it will make your Christmas brighter too!
