on the inside of the boot lit there are these two black pieces of plastic. Looks like something was clipped in there. was it a first aid kit?

if it was is it worth getting one to put back there as to me it looks like it would be royally in the way

Underside???

im guessing its the windblocker clip in points, really neat little location imo!!!

As others have said, it's for the wind deflector.

If you have a First Aid kit fitted, it should be under the pasenger seat.

oh right the thing between the roll hoops. i thought you just left that there :D

there is an empty box under the seat where the kit should be. If it was a standard kit then it was probably s**t anyway.

thanks

Not sure why you would think that? The BMW First Aid kit is a pretty comprehensive one, and the components are of high quality.

I would encourage you to put a First Aid kit in your empty box (whether it's a BMW one or not). Not only is it a legal requirement in some countries, but you never know when you may be the person who needs it.

not the quality of of the contects more just what is the contents.

ive found small first aid kits to be a bit crap in the past, little more than a bunch of plasters and a couple of bandages. maybe a token vial of saline. so i have no confidence in them.

her indoors knows about these things so we've got one shes put togehter which i have more confidence in.
