Pistonheads Longleat Safari Meet! (Wiltshire)

Hello!

A very lovely lady who has an art for planning car meets has organised this for 29th September. I'm contributing where I can, but 99.9% of it is her hard doing!

Currently there are 19 confirmed cars, but as you can see. It will be a great day. Just to give you an idea on the cars that will be going I'll list the first 10 that have said they are going.

- Ferrari 360
- Ferrari F430 Scuderia
- Mazda MX5
- Ariel Atom 3
- Aston Martin V8 Vanquish

- Porsche 996

have any of you been to longleat ? heads up, do not take a decent car through the monkey and lion enclosure, the little bastards jump all over yr pride and joy and rip off the wiper blades and any other trims they can get their paws on, funny to watch but not if its your car :thumbsdown:
 
We have arranged for a bus to take you around for £4pp. DON'T go through with your car.

I'm really pleased we have had so many sign up already. Hoping for 100 cars. At this rate we may get more!
 
It's not just the monkeys - we saw a tiger trying to rip a bumper off a brand new Astra! Did discuss with the owner afterwards how bizarre that insurance claim was going to be!
 
Soft tops aren't allowed into the actual safari anyway. I may be up for this also, will be keeping a close eye on this.
