Seeing what commercial pilots get paid these days, not something which sounds as enticing anymore, and the quality of the stewardesses is declining too!!! 8)

This is so true. It'll cost you upwards of £65k to get a temporary unpaid (just hours building) job with the likes of Ryanair and they'll chuck you out at the end of the season. But that's why the flights are so cheap, your co-pilot has 125hours and a frozen ATPL and your helping to train him!

That explains a lot from a recent ryanair nightshift streaming scenario.

No ppl for me. But when I'm in the Portland OR. Area. Both of my cousins have vans rv7's. one has nose gear. The other is a tail dragger. My cousin that flies the tail dragger is the traveling flight checker for Vans. I was in portland after my dad and I had a flight in a B17 flying fortress. We then took the rv's out. I went over the crater of Mt. St. Helens inverted. Was also lucky enough that while in the Air Force I was given the controls of a lockheed electra ( P3 Orion ) and once got to try out a huey helocopter. Which by the way was the most unnatural thing to try and control. Then the iceing on the cake. I got 2 hours in the rockwell B1 bomber full motion flight simulator. Wow! What a gas that was. And the zed has more room than that B1 cockpit.

I am a PPL/CPL/IR flying instructor based in Coventry at Atlantic Flight Training.
My Zed's interior is nothing like the glass cockpit of the Diamond DA40/42 I fly but it is a hell of a lot cooler and just quicker at full chat...

I'm a pilot...ME CPL IR....I dont fly for the money, and I dont know any other pilots who fly for the money either...the money is just a bonus!
Saying that....I have just put a deposit on a Porsche Cayman S...so the money
