Picture(s) of standard seats

Hello,

I assume that all pictures I have seen until now are showing the optional sport seats.
Has someone also pictures of the standard seats?

If you go on the online configurator, select "cockpit" and then select any colour apart from Ivory for the interior you can see them. They're not good

Does the Z4M have sport seats as standard or is it an option? Bit concerned I don't have them now :?

You should have these :) The seats we're talking about are for the new Z4

The new M3 seats are brilliant, I expect them to be fitted in the Z4M if/when it appears...

Thanks goodness for that! The reason I asked is that I have found the seats in the Z4M not as body hugging as my old Boxster...

flimper, how wide are you, I used to get squeezed into my M seats? Porsche sports seat are nice.

I'm certainly not a size zero! The Porsche seats were very tight, so that's probably why the M seats feel like they do.

To be honest, you can't tell by looking at those seats whether they're any good or not. One simply must tusch test them!

I want these - but in either champagne leather or preferable alcantara.

Or maybe in this two-tone colour scheme.

Sixspeed has very similar ones fitted to his car, might be worth a quick PM

Thanks, but I know the seats very well (Andy's got the FIA Pole Position seats, I want the ABE ones - not a lot of difference, but the ABE ones are usable with standard inertia-reel belts) and all the options for them, just can't face the £750 per seat (total with brackets, mounts, rails, and custom upholstery) - and I can't really just do the one

I tried 16 different seats at the Autosport show in 2008 and this was the best by far - deep enough to keep me from sliding, comfy enough for decent length trips, works with standard inertia-reel belts, cheap-ish (well they were until I found out how much the custom upholstery was going to cost, plus the 'fitting kit' which seems to be twice as much for a BMW than for a Porsche

Andy's car is one of the reasons I got a Z4MC - and originally wanted a white one, but am happy that I settled for black instead.

Ah yes you'd want the standard seatbelts, I wouldn't be too keen on a harness either. Two-tone looks good. Lot for seats though. Can you get them heated?

Don't think so, but if it's synthetic suede then there's no need as it doesn't chill as much as leather.

Ah I couldn't have the alcantara ones though, I hate the way it feels, I get the "fingernails on a blackboard" feeling when I touch it :headbang:

Me too! I thought I was the only one. Drove a ZHP on one of the Ultimate Drives. Feel of the steering wheel gave me the willies....
