Whens this meant to be coming out?
will have to wait until i see one in the fleshExpect to see it at Jan 09 North American Show - Detroit I think.
Expect to see a V8 version too (to cope with all the extra weight in the roof!)
Personal view - I prefer the rag top. Two versions (roadster and coupe) are logistically expensive. They are rationalising the line so you get both in one car. I believe that a compromise is one of the worst features in car design. Let it be!
I see that the latest 3.0 in the new 3 series is now putting out 271 hp with reduced emissions (175g/km if IIRC).
At this rate, the 2.0 will produce about 250hp by 2011!!!

The more pictures I see of the new car, the more I love my Coupe. I went back and forth between a few cars before buying this and the SLK was one of them. But side by side the SLK looked girly to me. Even the wife said the Coupe looked more aggressive and manly. Now the Z4 looks very similar to the SLK. Might be different once it's unwrapped and I see it in person, but right now I couldn't be happier with my Z.
