Hey all, just wanted to share some pics of my son's Elise where he went on a Lotus Drive & Gathering in Julian, California.... :D

Sweet rides. One question though, if he was driving who took the pics? They must have all taken photography classes together. :D

It was passenger, in another Lotus taking the pics. My son did not take any pics...and speaking of passengers, my son had mentioned to me that one of the wife passengers and literally "hurled some chunks" while the husband was driving spirittedly through the twistys...(is that a word "spirittedly?")...Anyways, my son said there was much to clean up....
 
Yup, as he described it to me...just the thought of it, the smell, the mess, .... :o .
Anyways, as in the marriage vows... "for better, or for worse" :D

I can believe that! The Élise is an extremely harsh ride if you use it daily. A Z4M Coupé will be more pleasant in a wider range of situations IMO

The Elise does ride very harsh....For a daily driver, my son had also spoiled himself with a Honda S2000. He just wants the M Coupe...maybe to be somewhat "classy" like his old man......LOL :D "Cats and Cradle and the silver spoon"....
 
Very nice pics.

Sounds like one of our drives down the back side if Big Bear. There was 8-9 of us and three of the passengers got a bit woosey. Gota love them twistys. :thumbsup:
 
Hey All...

News Flash!!! My son has just informed me he that he has a confirmed buyer for his Lotus, and the transaction should be complete by this Wednesday. Geez that was fast.... I asked him, so what other car are you planning to get now?
He replied and said that he is not in a hurry, then he wanted for me to look on his laptop screen, and there's a pic of an Audi RS8, and I said to him, "Yeah right!! :o My advice to him was to be practical and get an M coupe.. :) So he and I were briefly searching the dealerships abroad...We shall see...
 
Yep, that was fast!!! Hmmm, an RS8 or an M-coupe?? I think Audi would have to take the spot, especially if it had the V-10 8)
