Hello all

Picking up my new z4 (28i auto) on Friday from Chester, I live in Exeter (Devon), typically the snow looks like its coming in , what do they hande like in that kind of weather - I'm guessing crap but I need to pick it up anyway.

Has to be said am really quite excited - anyone know where you can download manual for the sat nav / audio system as would like to have a read before I pick it up

Cheers
Toby

That feeling if knowing your picking up a shiny car soon is great isn't it

Can't give you a link but I think a lot of the current manuals are on BMW's website. Otherwise google "e89 z4 manuals" and you should find them.

They ain't great and that's one hell of a drive in bad weather. I've heard today that blizzards are expected Friday in the central region. Probably won't happen, fingers crossed for you.
It will all be worth it though you will love the zed.
What colour/spec have you gone for?

Blizzards woud be fun - If it gets that bad I guess I'll stop off in one of the service station motels - that will chear my heavily pregnant (due in 3 weeks) wife

Spec is

Black 28i auto m sport
Sat nav
Heated seats ( sounds like these might be usefull)
Comfort pack
+ some other things I can't remember

Was a bargain pre registered delivery mileage 28k

Cheers
Toby

6 inches snow forecast for Friday in midlands,
Pick it up next week and keep it from getting damaged, even if by someone else's loss of control.

Nice, black looks great on the zed but hard to keep clean.
28k was a great deal, we were talking about discounts on another thread yesterday!
Have a safe journey and we will want to see pics when you get it!

Sooner you than me on Friday. I travel 60 miles up the m50/m5 each day to work and I have already agreed to work from home.

Get yourself on the map(see Stuart's post above). I grew up in Exeter and it will be good to see a pin there.
