Picking up my z4 on Wednesday

Hi all

I'm 24 from North
Yorkshire & just joined the forum.

Going back into the dealers this morning to sign paperwork on a z4 sdrive 23i m sport. It's a 2010
Model but only done 11,000 miles. It has heated seats, rear park sensors but unfortunately no cruise control.

Would love some ideas on simple mods. I'm thinking getting the rear window tinted, painting the calipers orange and a new stubby antenna.

Is re-mapping the car worth it? The chap I use said it would benefit the mpg but not really make a difference in speed.

Stunning matey, im in yorkshire too. We have some excelent roads for these amazing machines.

Im often in the dales, have a cracking route from Richmond - Reeth - Hawes - Ribblehead and then Harrogate for food.

I would like to put a yourkshire meet together and do this one weekend, you in?

One from yesterday :)

Where are you in Yorkshire I am in York

Wow loads of Yorkshire folk! I live in Pickering. The best route on the moors is from Hutton le hole to castleton over the Blakey road. I do this regularly at dusk and is a fantastic drive. The Richmond road in the Dales is also fab though.

I would definitely be up for a meet!!
We should start a Yorkshire zed owners topic on here and try to get together.

We often go to sandsend beach with our great little dog then drive from there to the Lion on blakey ridge for a beer and a sandwich as I can't do their meals as they are far too big and look like bad school dinners, but the local ham sarnie is very nice :)

I love that road too and the pub half way along it :)

Im nr. Leeds

Sounds like we may have a good group, I know a few others on the forum to who are in the area and interested.

Cruise, you'll never really use it, too much traffic for it ever to be on more than a few minutes therefore you wont miss it. Remap, forget it, it's an NA engine and it will make hardly any difference. If you want more power its going to have to be another car. Just enjoy the car for what it is... You'll not be disappointed.

I could not agree more, it was in EVO a couple of issues back and thought would try for myself, what a treat!

Coming up over the first ridge out of Hutton le hole, its like a race circuit enveloped in heather and moor land.

Perfect Zed territory :)
