Picking up my new Z tomorrow :)

So after seeing some rough as fook Z4s, and a Boxster too :oops: , Ive put a deposit down on a (what looks and sounds like!) a really good un. 2003, 3.0i with Carver, heated seats, 18", roof motor fixed this year, springs done last year, window reg done last year, 2 owner, serviced every 7k miles and only 35000 on the clock. Cant wait to pick it up. Got over 300 miles to do, as its in Birmingham and Im in Edinburgh :P Still, got a good route planned out for the way back and have bought a cruise control stalk to fit as soon as I pick it up. Big thanks to everyone on this forum as its been really useful the last couple of months researching everything. Hopefully meet some of y'all for a ride out at some point. :wink:

Wow, either that engine has really seen the sharp end of back to black, or its immaculate!
Looks like a very good buy judging your description. Reckon you've found a nice one there :thumbsup: make sure you check the wheels too. As you'll probably know they're rather prone to the elements. Look cool though from the pics. Like the grey roof.
 
Thanks for the good wishes... Recon that there has been a bit of Amy Winehouse in a can thrown at the engine bay :P

The wheels are a tiny bit taty from the photos Ive seen. Im not fussed though, as Im going to be on the lookout for an ellipsoid swap asap :wink: love those rims. Also, I'll be wanting to get the tyres replaced quite soon too. :thumbsup:
 
Hope you have a good drive back, and make sure you get out with the others up there asap. They are a great bunch :)
 
So I brought it back home today. Really love it!! The ride is a bit on the harsh side, but then thats no surprise. The "normal" seats arent as comfy as the sport ones that were in the other cars i test drove. So my modificcations list starts already!!! :P Otherwise its peachy. The tyres havent got much life left, so Im off to look up on the best rubber you guys recomend :thumbsup:

Also, quick couple of questions: wheres the best place to get stubby aerials from, and black kidney grills? Thanks
