Picking up my 09 plate Z4MR next week.....

Can't wait.

I have been running an 03 plate M3 cab for the last 4 years and I'm really going to miss it but I'm sure the MR will take my mind off it. :D

The car is the 2nd last one to be UK registered and is only a handful of cars on an 09 plate. Only 50 miles on the clock and £12K off list too.

Sapphire black with Imola leather, nav, heated seats, PDC and wind deflector.

Just need to get it on some CSL rims now as the standard rims can look a little lost in the arches.

Looks like a great forum with plenty of petrolheads and great advice.

Hi and welcome. However, am I missing something? I didnt realise there was a new Z4M model out?

The car is old stock held onto by the dealer and then registered later (in March 2009) than the majority of other late 58 plate cars. I have been watching dealers websites for a few weeks to find the right car and have only seen 3 09 plate cars (including mine).

Once registered it sat in the showroom for 6 months and has only 50 miles on it.

Get over to buy and sell and you'll find that jamiec is selling a set of CSLs with Michelin PS2s on them for £1500. They're mint and you will not find another set for that money.

Nice looking car now, wait till it's wearing some CSLs!

Thats certainly looks like a lovely 205 - you still got it?

Hi & thanks for the comment - yes the picture is only 2 years old I'd guess and it still looks as good today.

Bought it to re-live my youth as I had one when I was 22.

Still got the CTI too but that is no where near as much fun - more of a softy.

Saw that black 09 Z4MR and was actually pretty tempted.

It's about the same money as I paid for my 06 when it was 3 months old, but I'd get a new warranty.

Looks sweet, I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Out of interest, what were the other 2 09's ?

There was a rare white one on the BMW used car site with 2K miles and black leather and nav but I was concerned that while white looks good now, in a few yrs time may date (it sold within a week though)

The other is still for sale I think - a black with red but no nav in Bromley, Kent.

Hi and welcome

Sod discussing your new Z4MR (as nice as it is), I'm absolutely loving the Pug . My mate's still in the process of restoring a very similar G-plate 205 GTI 1.9, same colour,62k genuine miles and 2 prev owners, and weather permitting we're off to photograph it properly tomorrow. His still isn't quite perfect but it's bloody nice all the same, especially for a 19-year-old car, and sooo entertaining:

Fair enough.... :)

They look the best in white and this one looks great - better condition that mine and it's 3 years older.

Have a soft spot for them in any colour if I'm honest. It's amazing how many a time I've chosen to go for a blast in the 205 over the M3 - the experience is so raw and although outright speed can't compare, the overall drive certainly can.

I'm Lancs Leader of PSOOC (Peugeot Sports Official Owners Club) so there are 205s everywhere at the annual Pugfest at Prescott Hill.

Just a few more shots, of the real drivers car:

Hope you like them - musty admit I'm pleasantly surprised at the following these cars still have and didn't expect them to be more popular than my new Z4MR, especially on this forum! :D
