PIck up my Zeddy tomorrow at 10:30am

It's a Smart roadster coupe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_Roadster really great looking but gutless unfortunately.

My comment on the headlights was assuming the black inners was only on the 2.0 model. Infact it's on all except the 3.0 which has matt chrome as a standard.

Reading - just a wild guess based upon the colour of the house bricks in Berkshire. I was only 40 miles or so out :D

That otehr car is correctly identifies as a Smart Roadster , which is goin on Friday. You say gutless...

I had it chipped to just under 100bhp(from a three cylinder 700cc engine with turbo) For a car that is a convertable, the most amount of fun you can have without driving a go kart on the road and all this for £25 to fill up the tank and over 300 miles..... I will miss her lots, also it has received the most attention I have ever received, people love it!

You've got great taste in cars  I also had a smart roadster (coupé) before getting a 2.5si about a year ago. Loved my smart and I definitely wouldn't call her gutless either.

You know what, that car (the roady) easily provide the most bang per buck that I have ever driven. What made it all the sweeter was the fact that the leasing cost was £124 + VAT per month!!! nothing :)

roadster2004, how much of a shock were the new running costs!?

Oooops I never thought it was yours :D :friends:

I love the look of them, just wished they made one with a 1.8 or 2.0 turbo with about 200bhp and a proper gearbox, either a decent auto or a manual, then that would be something else.

The Roady, just like my Z4 is a lease, so I only pay for the fuel......and Z4 is about twice as thirsty as the Roady, depending on the way you drive it of course. The lease also nearly doubled, so I had no choice but to switch jobs to afford my driving style :)

Thanks!

I bought it second hand so I had no say in the matter! Howver i know it has the M Sport Suspension, does anyone know if that means it is lower or just a harsher ride(but better handling?)

Re the roadster, you were right, I just filled up the tank an dit cost me £50 exactly double the cost of the roady..I wonder if Ill get the same MPG ;)
