I already have fk springs on my car, which means it's rather low:

I recently purchased some Eibach springs in the hope that it may raise the suspension a small amount to enable my 10'' rear wheels to have more clearance, as currently there isn't much:

It's more the inner plastic arch liner that protrudes a little, rather than the actual metal arch.

Does anyone have any photo's of their z4 lowered on Eibach springs with 19'' wheels? A quick search brought up all sorts of stuff, so would be ideal if i could get everything in the one thread. I don't want to go to the effort of fitting them to realise they've raised the car too much.

Cheers.

Brilliant! Cheers Dav. Shows me exactly how mine will sit with the deep dish alloys also.

Front may be a bit high for me, but I think the rear is sitting pretty much perfect.

Ben, there was a post yesterday by a new coupe owner JohnnyB with 19's on eibach. Not quite the deep dish you have but another example of ride height. I'm hoping to fit some myself this weekend weather permitting :headbang:

I should really head into the newbie section more often

Csl's and eibachs seem a perfect combo 8)

Yes mate, did the rears myself on Saturday and got my dads mate to compress the front springs on, as we couldn't get them compressed enough to get the top mount back on.

Sits about 10mm higher than with the fk's. Far more practical now and still looks alright I think.

Same here I bought some of those compressors from screw fix, but they were about as much use as a chocolate teapot!

I ended up down at national Tyres, they used a hydraulic compressor and still needed a trolley jack to push the damper up enough to get the top cap nut on. I think you will be happier with the ride quality of the eibachs over time and you are right far more practical to live with!

Liking that Ben, I've been really pleased with the Eibach kit, I was dreading it being too low but on 19's the car sits just how I want it. I'll take a side pic when it's not raining.
