I have head a read through many threads about cleaning/stopping fingermarks on piano black interiors.

My question is more about the surface marks/light scratches/swirls I seem to see. Is there a product that would fill/remove these?

Just thinking out loud but a 'gentle t-cut :evil: ' or something to buff the surface?

Does anyone know how thick the piano finish is?

You could get some Ferecla polishing compound, G10 I think, the company I work for sell high gloss/wet look Italian lacquer, polyester base coat and Polyurathane topcoats into the yatch and kitchen markets and I'm pretty sure you could burnish out the swirls, you would need the proper kit though, don't think you could do it by hand, good luck :thumbsup:
