PIAA Xtreme White Plus halogen and driving light bulbs

Although I would like to install xenon lights, I'm hesitant to do so after reading a number of posts from people who experience problems such as water leaking or electrical problems. As an alternative, I'm looking to replace the bulbs to make it appear almost Xenon like. Has anyone use these PIAA Xtreme White Plus halogen and driving light bulbs? Also, how easy or difficult is it to replace the bulbs? If I brought the bulbs to the dealer, do you think they would replace them for me?

PIAA's are good bulbs but way overpriced. I would check into the availability of Silverstar Ultras.

I believe that the people who are experiencing issues with Xenon upgrade kits are more to do with locating ballasts in areas prone to water and vibration. High volatage, water and vibration make dangerous companions...
