Photos of tinted Z4 roadsters?

mmm-five, now that's what I call world class forum service! 
The percentages are wrong, the lower percentage the darker the tint.
A 50% tint will let in 50% of the light, a 20% tint will only let in 20% of the light.

I had mine done, 50% all round on my last E89.
If i get my new one done it will be 50% light smoke on the sides and 35% smoke on the rear as I think the rear screen was a bit too light last time.
I wouldn't go darker on the sides as it stands out too much, and if the old bill pull you over they could make you remove it there and then (if they are having a bad day!).
I think the E89 comes with a 70% tint as standard which is the legal limit, so there wasn't a huge difference, which is what I wanted. Didn't want to look like a drug dealer!!

Yeh as I said some cars come with a 70% tint as standrad, so putting a tint on top of that would be very slightly darker than putting a tint on clear glass. Anything less than 70% is illegal, but you would have to be very unlucky to get stopped and caught with 50% tints i'd say, but you never know 
@Taz it's a dodgy photo lol, my camera took a photo of it upside down for some reason, so I flipped in on my computer but flipped it horizontally by accident first. Should be facing left

The % is just how one specific company will describe the tint. Some will say 5% when they mean they'll be 5% darker, whereas others say 95% when they mean 5% darker, and yet others will refer to the light transmission %.
As long as you know which one they are referring to then you should be fine - as long as you remember to take account of the 5-20% reduction in light transmission as standard.
My % were referring to the opacity setting of my brush.
