Phone dock??

I've bought a new interior (mmmm extended leather :D ) and the center cubby hole has what looks like a phone dock or something? Theres a speech button like the one on the steering wheel control button. Does anyone have one of these?
Not sure if its worth putting in if i have to buy extra wiring looms etc.

No phone dock present. Not to sure if you car is pre wired either. You would need to by a new UFL as well.
 
it's called an "Eject Box" and various BMW parts exist for various phones, but they're a bit out of date.

I think there's a modded Iphone one about, and one for the newest Sony Ericcsons, otherwise they're all a few years old.

It will link up your aerial tho, so you'll get better signal than by bt.
 
looks like mine but mine as a blank phone dock over the top, the bmw dealer used that button to pair my phone
 
Its for the snap in adapters, just buy the one for your phone (£59) it charges and also uses an external antenna for better phone reception.
Shame that BMW have a limited range of adapters.
