Trying to help a friend who has the phone adapter but no cup holders, only a flat tray. He bought the cup holder (right side under the arm rest) and we (me and the other folks on a yank z4 forum) can't figure out how to get the the piece below the adapter out without having to pull the entire center console. Have looked at the parts diagrams on-line, but they do not show disassembly, so figure I would ask here as I didn't see any similar posting.
