iif this is true I wouldn't risk it personally .Yes it is a cat D, wasn't notified (and still haven't been notified) until I ran a check on the vehicle. Disappointed as I was quite keen, but seen as it wasn't disclosed after a little conversation via pm, and asking if there was anything about the car I should be aware of it makes me wonder what other hidden details there are. Luckily I ran a check before deciding to drive from Norwich to Hampshire... Suffice to say when I replied with my discovery I had no reply back.. Gutted, even my wife liked this one!

To be clear I ran a check before I did anything, and thought the chap would fess up when prompted about any other history but nothing.. I hadn't agreed or talked price as I discovered the cat d information early on. I've owned 4 cars in my life,and each one if I like it the first thing I do however genuine I run a check for the sake of £3. Although like a noddy in this case I ran a check with the wrong plate and came up with a mini one! Doh! 
Truth is had I of not known firstly the value of the car is of the owner, what it's worth to an insurer is another sum altogether. Secondly, if I had (touch wood) another accident, my insurer would have not paid out when they run their checks post accident. Very deceitful in all honesty.
