Rob
I might be a bit p*ssed off (like the bloke turning his back), but if you have a Trotter 3 wheel nutter machine I wish you well - in a good way!Busterboo said:Busterboo wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 1:08 am

No worrys Peter ,i have a signed copy

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...the E89 bottom doesn’t quite cut it...so I like the little spoiler..quite perky bottom now .. my second version...
Peter's is no doubt a very good car and I like Atacama Yellow, but you're right, Rob, it's the "ahem ... other end" that spoilers* it. A signature photo from the front would be so much better.Smartbear said:So is that like a facelift but ahem, at the other end?![]()
Rob
Fair enough, but there's a danger of the E89 becoming like the Capri. You know the kind of thing ... if you saw one without a spoiler, go faster stripes and fluffy dice, there was something not quite right with it.Zed Baron said:Having seen the aforementioned 'rear end', Im afraid I have to disagree... looks good![]()

A more moderate and measured response than many would give, I'll bet.Pbondar said:Busterboo said:Fair enough, but there's a danger of the E89 becoming like the Capri. I appreciate the logic of avoiding the fluffy dice syndrome..clearly a Merc saloon with stripes /spoiler looks naff..
Certainly the first spoiler I fitted wasn't a perfect marriage even when colour matched..
When I got the factory msport rear valance and diffuser I painted it gloss black and yellow to match all the other parts that were silver that were re-painted gloss black..
I've avoided the carbon fibre faux exhuast tips and other what I would consider gauche parts..
The reason I avoid the frontal shots is there is little of the Z4 in the head on shot..it could be anyone of half a dozen models..
For me the side on, rear/3/4 rear, 1/4 front views are the best!
Given its bright yellow, I think the styling plays to its cheeky look..
Having a sports car in black/dull colours with such an intersting body form does not do the car justice..IMHO..
Each to their own..but I do appreciate feedback, even if its painful !

Is there any chance of photos from angles that don's show the spoiler?
