Rob, you bought Peter's?

Or do all Atacama Yellows come with a bit extra on the boot?
It’s Petes car at smartbear towers
ob
I might be a bit p*ssed off (like the bloke turning his back), but if you have a Trotter 3 wheel nutter machine I wish you well - in a good way!

Peter's is a beautiful car. From the back, though, there's one thing that ... er ... spoils it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...the E89 bottom doesn’t quite cut it...so I like the little spoiler..quite perky bottom now .. my second version...

So is that like a facelift but ahem, at the other end?

Peter's is no doubt a very good car and I like Atacama Yellow, but you're right, Rob, it's the "ahem ... other end" that spoilers* it. A signature photo from the front would be so much better.

(*This is for those who haven't realised already that I think the after-market addition to his rear end wasn't a good idea. )

Having seen the aforementioned 'rear end', Im afraid I have to disagree... looks good
Fair enough, but there's a danger of the E89 becoming like the Capri. You know the kind of thing ... if you saw one without a spoiler, go faster stripes and fluffy dice, there was something not quite right with it.

Well I never noticed the spoiler I was always admiring that he has the Msport rear bumper insert and diffuser. It’s a thumbs up from me for the spoiler 👍

I never owned a Capri :( I did go to look at a 2.0S in black with netted Recaros and the insurance was too high as I was 18 (1984) my mates dad had the 2.8i and I loved that car. I just had to be content with my 1970 suped-up 1300 Mini in candy apple red and.... fluffy dice 8)

I appreciate the logic of avoiding the fluffy dice syndrome..clearly a Merc saloon with stripes /spoiler looks naff..

Certainly the first spoiler I fitted wasn't a perfect marriage even when colour matched..

When I got the factory msport rear valance and diffuser I painted it gloss black and yellow to match all the other parts that were silver that were re-painted gloss black..

I've avoided the carbon fibre faux exhuast tips and other what I would consider gauche parts..

The reason I avoid the frontal shots is there is little of the Z4 in the head on shot..it could be anyone of half a dozen models..

For me the side on, rear/3/4 rear, 1/4 front views are the best!

Given its bright yellow, I think the styling plays to its cheeky look..

Having a sports car in black/dull colours with such an intersting body form does not do the car justice..IMHO..

Each to their own..but I do appreciate feedback, even if its painful !

A more moderate and measured response than many would give, I'll bet. :)

Is there any chance of photos from angles that don's show the spoiler?
