Delivered to day ready to fit this weekend .Front discs and pads were shot so ordered new performance friction discs and pagid rs29 pads.Got a good deal from AS PERFORMANCE very helpful guy his name is ALYN .Hope to be back on the road after weekend if all goes well :)

So how good was the good deal - considering OEM will cost about £500 for front discs & pads (and there's nothing wrong with OEM discs).

Don't have OEM calipers have Ap 6 pots front and 4 pot back
Payed £760 for discs pads and fixing bolts had been quoted
£980 and performance friction are suppose to be better

500 for front discs and pads.... do they come gold plated? im sure when i was buying this car a set of pagid discs/pads were ~£100 for the 3.0L even something like black diamond and yellow stuff pads were <250

Was quoting the BMW price for Z4M discs & pads, as I wanted to know whether it was worth moving from OEM.

I asked EBC about their discs for the Z4M and they were much more expensive the OEM.

ahhhh... didnt pay attention to the little M and its associated tax :) i was just looking for my 3.0L. EBC turbo groved discs are about £160 a pair. (i did a bit of a spread sheet while i was looking at the car for stuff like this with prices from places like europarts and the like) tbh whatever is on it at the mo do a damn good job anyhow.

the other week i was on the M6 in dry warm conditions. the guy infront swerved volently to present me with stationary traffic it felt like id thrown an anchor out the back. it was enough to get the dash to light up. i had to stop as i had a pain right across my waist where the lapbelt was but i think that was down to the shock of the icident. bloody good job i was in this car and not the others and no one was behind me as it would have been nasty

PFC makes great discs, they really do take a good beating. I've run through 4 sets of Hawk pads on my Alcons and still have plenty life in the discs. They also are very very tough, no warping at all. They get hot enough during days at the Nurburgring :-)

Thank for info tommy was going to get ap discs but quite
A phew track day guys told me to get PF discs will post some
Pics when I've fitted the discs and pads :)
