Sure I've seen a build with pics somewhere of the sofa but can't seem to find it.

The guy who made it also makes coffee tables from engine block/crankshafts etc.

I've just bought an old zakspeed f1 prototype engine block off my late German friends widow for that reason , it's stands upright on the back and the glass will sit on the timing case , the pots also double as great wine bottle holders .

Have you any photographs of this yet, or is it still in construction?

The block is in my house in France , it was already stripped and cleaned , I'll buy the glass top here as everything in France is expensive !
I'm useless on computers but if you give me a mobile number I can send a pic of the block , your welcome to post it on here if you want .
I took a gamble on it as I didn't really know what exactly it is , I did suspect my late friend may have been having a last laugh at my expense but I've found a couple of pics on the interweb to confirm it , engine number threw nothing up .
