PDR = One happy customer!

Just wanted to throw a heads up for anyone with a few dings.

Had a call out to Dent UK and arranged for someone to come over and give some tlc for the e92.

Their technician came promptly on Friday as scheduled, and before I had the chance to offer some tea or coffee, he had already got to work and made brilliant headway on the car!

Prices were very reasonable and certainly better (and cheaper) than a trip to the body shop to get some of those out!

For anyone interested, their website is http://www.dentuk.com/

Certainly one number and site I'll be keeping for a long time to come! (Unfortunately I did forget to take some pictures! D'oh!)

As most of these are franchises, the quality of work can vary so, rather than expecting all operators under a single brandname to provide the same quality of work, it's best if you ignore the 'brand' and go by personal recommendation for someone in your area

Worth their weight in gold PDR men. Mine charges me £10/20 a time, well worth it. :D

"a time" - do you always park in dodgy places or so? :poke:

I paid £150.

There were three 50p size dents on the drivers side rear quarter panel. Two 20p sized on the drivers side as well as a 6" crease on the driver's side door.

Perry, Dent UK don't operate the typical franchise model like other companies. It's run by a father and son team so you can be certainly sure there's no risk of having someone providing sub par quality work.

That's good to hear Neil especially as you are local to me.

100% Happy?

Any signs of where the dents were or completely invisible? Only ask as I've never used PDR and obviously results are only as good as the Technicians expertise.

Very happy Jimbo.

No traces of anything left. Completely convinced PDR is the way forward.

I can't promise anything but I can't see why they wouldn't be willing to give a discount if we (as a forum) got a few cars together.

But surely that means they have a very limited area of operation so you've provided a local recommendation as nobody outside your area would be able to use them anyway :?

Correct.

But then again, that would hold true with other franchises would it not? i.e. if a tech covering one area is better than another etc.

Yes, that's why I said to ignore the brand names as your local 'Dent Magician' or 'Dent Devil' will not necessarily be the the same standard as the one your cousin who lives 50 miles away used even though they trade under the same umbrella name - get a word-of-mouth recommendation from someone local

Twice I've used him, neither for dent I've inflicted.

Just meet him at a convenient location and no questions asked
