PDC Volume

Is there any way to increase the PDC volume or have it lower the radio volume when active? In my E87 when PDC is active its volume increases based upon the radio volume so you can hear it no matter what. I find I need to turn down the radio in the E85 to hear the PDC...

I don't think there is away to do it, if there is I sure would be interested as well

I have to lower the radio too... I tend to just ignore them now!

The only way I found on other BMWs is to activate the PDC by getting into reverse while near another car or wall and then dust the volume while it is active.

If you have an Intravee then you can have the PDC display distance from each sensor to an object on the satnav display. Appreciate that doesn't help if you don't have an Intravee though...

No intravee... disappointing! I guess it was "early" days for PDC. The 1 series has a button to turn it off, variable volume, front and rear sensors and there is only two years between the two cars. Oh well.
