Can Any IT wizard tell me why after a Windows update my PC keeps signing me out of all my most visited sites ?
Facebook, Amazon, Z4 Forum, E bay. Every time I return to my PC I have to re sign in to everything. I've tried various things to try and rectify this problem, delete browsing history, cookies. Have done a restore to a previous date. Restarts, trouble shooting tips etc. Nothing works through google Chrome browser or Microsoft Edge. Pissing me off now. :headbang: Please help. :dizzy:

Happened to me too, last week... I was being asked to sign into all my automatic login sites every time I visited. Seems my AVG security had downloaded the same update 2 days in a row.... Don't know why it would do that unless the 1st one was interrupted or ? Anyway I assumed that was it and I reset ( restored) the PC back a few days and all is well. A simple restore to earlier date may fix your issue as well

Brings up another point - if your PC is running well today create a restore point. Windows 10 doesn't make and keep these dates like good ole Wndw 7 did. When you go to restore you will find just 1 maybe 2 available dates in Wndw 10 unless you create more.
P.S.
I'm not a IT guy but I do spend too much time on the PC. :D

Have tried the restore option but the problem still exists :idunno:

Have you tried checking the "remember me" box? That will extend the life of the cookie

Another thing. I got told some time ago that Windows 10 does not need any anti-virus. I deleted mine about 3 years ago and never looked back. All it did was clag up the performance of the system.

It sounds like your browsers are constantly running in incognito or InPrivate (depending on the browser), so no history, cookies, or cache are persisting. Do you have any security software that's diligently covering your tracks for you (i.e., automatically deleting cookies and history after each session)?

I've checked everything and can't find a solution :headbang:

Windows security & BT McAfee Virus protect.

Windows 10 doesn't need 3rd party anti virus. Look it up. It caused nothing but problems for me and since I removed it I've had no issues.
At the very least the OP could remove it and see if it fixes the problem and if not reinstall it?

Your broswer is deleting your cookies, history etc when you close it.

To rule this out, just uninstall your browser and reinstall it. Or try something new such as Chrome or Firefox if you don't already use them.
