passenger window problem from drivers switch

Bit of an odd one, just got myself an 03 3.0 and when I use the switch in the drivers door to operate the passenger window it goes down no matter what way I use the switch. Its fine from the passenger door switch, works both ways and it works fine when operating the hood.

A simple bad drivers side switch or maybe more to it?

Take the window switch apart and clean the contacts. The switch is a prime spot for rain with the window open and spillages from the cupholder.

Use contact cleaner or 99% isopropanal alcohol.

have taken it apart and the two pads on the left side (for window up) dont seem to respond. All looks perfect inside.

Take the little box apart to clean, I spilt coffee and had the same problem

I would still clean it inside with contact cleaner or isopro as a clear coating of sugarery substance won't be visible.
