Passenger window issue

So annoyingly my passenger window just stopped working to an extent. If I give it a helping hand it will work so it’s not the motor but It sounds like there is grit in the rails where the window goes into.

Anyone had this before.

Under £20 if you are handy with spanners and buy a repair kit. £150 if you buy a whole new regulator from the likes of ECP. More if you go to a dealer.

Thank you gentlemen indeed it was the cable. Replaced it for less than a tenner.
