I've researched as much as I can but can't find any reference to my Z4 problem anywhere, so maybe I'm unique, or maybe I'm just lucky!
Ever since I've owned my 2003 2.5 E85 whenever I operate my roof it drags the rubber boot, that sits it on top of the b column, out of position meaning I then have to push it back into place. No big issue really but more annoying. When I bought the car I it had recently had a new roof motor fitted, there were receipts to verify this. I think this b column seal has been damaged during the refit. Unfortunately I can't show any photos of the offending item as I am working away just now.
Was just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to renew this seal without a complete strip down of the roof and all the associated gubbins?
