Passenger Headlight Not Working - Xenons

As the subject says, my passenger headlight is not working. I've done the bulb swap to check and plugged them in at opposite sides to check it isn't anything wiring related.

I was going to order a new ballast but thought I'd ask on here if anyone had any other ideas of what it could be. The inside halo light is working, just not the main beam.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Check the power to the ballast. If there's voltage it's probably is the ballast if you've checked with a bulb that is verified.

It's a faff but you could always swap the ballast to verify absolutely that it's the ballast. Both headlights out.
Good opportunity to give them a polish and to check/clean all the sockets.

Thanks! Not sure how I check power to the ballast apart from swapping them over maybe? Good job the bumper is off atm!

Do you know if any coding is required should I need a new ballast?

No coding required. Just plug and play. Put a bead of silicone around the connector interface once installed to prevent water ingress should your headlights mist up in the future.
Make sure you disconnect the battery and wait 30 mins before poking around the headlights if you want to avoid getting a nasty zap!

It was the ballast! £25.00 to replace, waaaaaaay better than a new headlight!!
