Passenger Headlamp Replacement Needed - Struggling

Hi All,
I'm in need of a replacement passenger headlamp for my 53 plate but struggling to locate one. I've scoured local scrap merchants and websites but it's not looking good, even my regular garage has said they're struggling to locate one.

Would anyone on here have any thoughts/recommendations on where I might be able to pick one up? Failing a like for like replacement being possible what about face lift models ...is that a workable alternative solution and if so any thoughts on the best and most reasonably priced place to get a pair? OEM headlamps....should they be avoided?

Appreciate any help any of you can provide :)

Many Thanks

Hi, water has got into it and corroded some of the elements inside I was told from the garage. As a result when I'm indicating left it's on a fast flick as if the bulb is on it's way out, I've changed this several times so it's not the bulb I'm sure. It passed it's recent MOT but front and rear indication is now fast and I'm a little concerned it will only get worse over time.

Thanks

i am very pleased with these, they are well made and are as good as oem in my honest opinion but i chose them because they have motors in and have the much better spring clip holding in the bulbs rather than the rather stupid bmw flimsy push and twist clip
and.. they look really smart.

Do you have Xenons or Halogen headlights? Those linked above are Hologen, not sure you can just put them in if you have Xenon setup.

Took me 8 months to find a replacement Xenon and then it cost me £300 for just the one.

Good morning. I'll double check the bulbs again today if I can just to rule that out, if not thank you for the links, I was struggling to think what I was going to do next.

Thank you all for your feedback, this forum is absolutely first class

I would have thought that was obvious, xenon is a different colour temperature and is a white /blue look whilst ordinary bulbs are more a cream look when you look at them.
BTW, headlights over time lose the ability to reflect the light. So even a xenon setup will put out less light than a new set of headlights with ordinary halogen bulbs. Food for thought

And.. While I'm thinking about it, most of us are familiar with the finger breaking Steel clip on the oem headlights, and unless the rubber seal is wonderful we get the steamy headlights we all know and love :headbang:
I'm happy to report no such situations with my new shiny non oem ones, a simple push on rubber cover - oh joy, and anybody that researches the headlights situation like I did before buying new ones will know that most will say fitting hid's in will invalidate the warranty, not the ones I bought who say 35w are fine. And are brilliant  Very happy
