Passenger Air Bag help please

Hi, I wanted to take my 5 year old for a spin in my z4. I have access to a private track so its very unlikely that I would meet anything head on and I will be taking things slow. My car does not have the key system to deactivate the bag. I have been looking round at a few other posts and the response has been mixed. Some say that if the child is on a booster seat facing forward with the seat in the back position then its safe. I myself would feel better if I could disable it. I have also seen posts about the bag being deactivate with weight and that a light will come on in the dash. I will be seeing my kids soon and wanted to get your opinion. I have heated sports seats. I do not have any buttons next to the gear stick.

It does seem the consensus is it's OK for forward facing seats fully back. I'd still feel a lot better with it off in normal road use. In your particular circumstance I think there is very little risk, I would go ahead myself, but everyone must ultimately make their own decision.
