Ha ha ha , I've had a couple , an old s2 and a Griffith 500 , and the one thing you could rely on them for was to make you look like a berk , oh , and leak in :rofl:
Great cars about twice a year
 
If I were to service TVRs I would include a complimentary sudoku book - invaluable for passing the hours you wait for the rescue truck. :D

I thought the hard shoulder was where owners stored them. :?

Got off the ferry at Calais, in spring 2007, on route to Nurburgering. There was a TVR club, heading down on the same Ferry. Past six, on the hard shoulder, before we got there. Only for that day, I could well have bought a Tuscan, instead of the Zed.
 
Yes I can relate to this I broke down on the outskirts of London and had to have the RAC out plus I have had them come out to my house as well, I was hoping with mine being a Coupe it wouldn't leak water in either...but it did anyway!! they are a complete nightmare to rely on but I must be mad because I will get another in the future because everything I have owned since has been a little boring and I have had two M cars after it so they do get under the skin the TVRs but they are very marmite.
 
I always found the most exciting part of tvr ownership was the anticipation of setting off on a journey wondering if you would get there without something falling off it :rofl:
They are great things though , I keep looking myself but I don't have a garage so it's a non starter , literally :lol:
