Hi I am wanting to put my own DVD player into 04 Z4 2.5SE . I know about a replacment facia thats easy. I have parking sensors and want to keep stearing wheel controls for my new player. Can any kind soul link the gear I will need to buy to enable this. Once I have my new DVD fitted I have outputs for an underseat amp and Sub which I am looking to also fit. I am not sure if parking sensor works through the stereo or not?. Does the oem head unit have standard ISO connections?

Parking sensors dont work through the stereo so shouldnt be a problem.

Headunit isnt ISO standard so you will require a loom.

You will need to ensure the headunit you purchase offers an interface for the MFSW.

Dont think replacing the headunit is an option if you have a BT built in.

you can get many head units with bluetooth, just don't think you can control it through steering wheel

Sorry, I thought you meant about retaining the OEM BT.

Best be for that would be a parrot CK3000/EVO with their Multican interface, and any headunit you like.
