Part Number / How to get to the part?

Hello

Does anyone know the part number, or name of the part outlined in the attached image?

I have realised its importance, as it is above a hall sensor for the roof mechanism.

I noticed a crack in it, but just thought it was superficial.

I know these are sensitive components, so anything which could affect them needs sorting out.

I have tried removing the trim to get to the part, but It is covered in these little black tabs which seem just about impossible to remove, or would take me several hours.
(Maybe this is why BMW repair bills are so high!)

Is there a special tool required to easily remove these?

Any help on the above would be much appreciated.

The exposed hall sensor, beneath the crack:

These annoying little tabs!

There's a tool to remove those.. or I use a screwdriver to prise then up a little. Not that hard. Look on ebay for trim removal tool and it looks a bit like a fork with two prongs..

Try realoem for the part number.. but it's fairly hard to use I find.. :D

Looks like it’s part no 9 in the following diagram
