Part number for Z4 3.0i m sport front springs

Hi,
A little help please.

I have been trying to find the BMW part number for the front springs. I have a 2004 3.0i roadster and it has the m sport suspension.

I tried looking on realoem but the page for springs was blank.

Can anyone help.

Thanks

Having exactly the same issue today but on the 3.0si. I reckon they are the same as the Z4M.

The M sits differently and the S54 is probably a different weight to the N52 so I doubt they're the same. From what I've seen the 2.5si springs ought to be the same.

I did find the part numbers for mine; I'll see if I can find them...

Found the pic of mine, 2006 2.5si:

Edit: just re-read the original and it must be a pre-facelift M54. Was thrown by the second post. I'll leave this here anyway

Sorry OP, didn't mean to hijack your post but this might helps as well.

I just found that the part number for 3.0si is 6760622 and that is 270mm.
The 2.5si, as stated, 6760621 is 279mm.

Same part number but different size springs? That sounds odd :?

Definitely not the same springs. Bought the wrong Eibachs in the past and had to order different for the M sport version. Z4m is a heavy cast iron engine which makes some of the differences alone.

Thanks for responses. I should have explained the reason in starting the thread. Currently I have the Suplex for m sport springs with B4 Bilstein shocks. I have been getting all manner of noises and after having been to 4 different garages, I am told that the springs are wrong. Trying to get hold of original springs to eliminate any doubt hence the need for the BMW part number. I have been to two original BMW part sites and both don't display the spring details. Most who have fitted the Suplex springs appear happy.

A possibility, worth taking them out to check. Can't believe I can't sort this. It wasn't a problem for over a year and a half since install. Thanks

Another associated question. My understanding is that the 2004 3.0i SE model came with m sport suspension as stock. Is that correct? Thanks

I dare say Sports Suspension is a tickable thing in the options list and might have worked out cheaper for original buyer than a true Sport.

What sort of funny suspension noises? Any likelihood of drop links, roll bar bushes, wishbone balljoints or very knackered lollipop bushes?

Hi smorris_12,
Those items have been checked and replaced with genuine BMW parts. Good thinking though and yhey were the first to be investigated.

When the springs were changed to the Suplex ones, were the upper and lower spring pads changed as well? can it be that they are worn or missaligned?

Apart from the Suplex springs and Bilstein shocks, every involved component was purchased new from BMW, all the way down to the nuts. At the time I wanted to complete the assembly so that I could remove and replace with new and not re-use old bits
