Can the parking brake tension be adjusted via a DIY? I know I could have the dealer do it, but I don't want them to look at me funny when they find the whole mess of custom wiring I've put into my car in that area.
Basically, if I park on even a slight hill, I have to pull the p-Brake to its most extreme notch to hold the car. The first 5/6/7 notches are worthless. Its my experience that I should only have to pull a p-Brake about 1/2 way to hold the car on a mild/moderate hill. I'm not talking about San Francisco extremes here, just a mild driveway or shopping lot.
