Somone has to spend the UK out of recession, so it might as well be me. I got a Panny GF2 micro 4/3rds camera in a double lens package. What a cracking little camera to stash in the car or take away on your hols. In the right hands it could come close to the average dslr aimed at the lower end of the amateur market.
Touch screen controls, focussing, modes etc, 1080p HD video with Dolby, up to 6400 iso, 2000sec shutter speed
The 14mm (28mm equivalent) f2.5 "pancake lens" is a gem with great shallow depth of field capabilities. It is fast to focus, bang and you are on target.
As an "I want one" targeted packaging, Panasonic has it spot on. A bit like the iphone 4 packaging......you just want to hold it, I just cannot put the camera down.
Have been using it to try out some b&w reportage. Roll on next months comp!
