Ok, I Know everybody leads busy lives these days and care of the cars paintwork may not be high on the list of things to do but modern car cleaning has accounted for lots of work for those of us that are discerning owners. I recently took delivery of a new to me E89, on the face of it, it shone like a new pin but when I ran my fingers across the paint work, it felt like sandpaper. So I have resolved to clay the whole car and start the polishing process again. I blame the dealers who use this ultra thick gloss way to present a car. Perhaps if they used the same test as I did, run your fingers over the paintwork, they might realise the paintwork needs a thorough clean before wax is applied.
