Has anyone any experience of the Gtechniq Platinum Total Surface Protection package?
It is applied by a Gtechniq approved installer on the site of the dealer, the Platinum package covers the paint, glass, interior and wheels, has a 5 year guarantee and is also offered by dealers for the likes of Aston Martin, Bentley and Lamborghin.

From what I have researched the coating makes the car real easy to keep clean and keeps a deep shine to the paintwork, my Z4 is Sapphire Black this is one of the reasons I am considering a ceramic coating.
It's due in March so it can be applied from new.

Thanks.

Not Gtech but had ceramic coating on my 718 and now have it in my G29. 71263F89-FF79-4655-B209-62628023185A.jpeg
I simply rinse, snow foam, rinse most washes.
The 718 was three years old when I sold it and still looked superb.
Well worth doing if you plan on keeping the car, but I’d get quotes from independent professional retailers.

Hi Scubaregs
The 718 looks great, the paintwork has that deep shine of a new car! I figure that a Sapphire Black Z4 will look just awesome....

If your near Birmingham or willing to travel, speak to forum member beedub, has a detailing an wrapping business, https://www.topwrapz.com/

Thanks, was done at a few weeks old. Same guy did my G29.

Just remember, even new cars will require some paint correction.

Based on this, I think this package uses the crystal serum light instead of Ultra. If you find some approved detailed to do the job, I would go for the crystal serum ultra.
