Hi guys,

I have recently bought a Z4 from a large reputable (non BMW) dealership however after the sale they told me that they had lost all of the books from the owners pack up including the service manual. They have now supplied me with a new stamped up service manual and an owners manual for the car. Compared to other cars I have owned in the past this seems very little as these two doccuments are very thin. Could you please let me know exactly what books you guys had supplied with your car so I can chase up any that are still missing. I would expect at least a CD player user manual. If possible would someone mind posting a photo of all the books so I can show the dealership.

I have had a search and not managed to find anything of any use. All I need to know is how many books you have and what they are and that would be enough.

You should have an owner's manual. A manual for the radio. A service booklet. A cleaning/care manual. In the US you get a guide for locating dealers and and a small atlas.
 
I have

Radio Operating Guide
Operating Instructions for Sat Nav

You will only have one of the above though (I have two as I retrofitted Nav)

Service Book
Handbook
Europe Service Contact List
Look After Your Car Book
 
I got all of the above along with a very nice bmw owners folder with lots of information including space for all the documents i was given(insurance,finance,breakdown cover etc..)

Yes I do have one of these but it was supplied by BMW as I bought a AUC, you wouldnt get from from a non BMW dealer.
 
I got this lot.

You will not get the leather ring binder thats BMW approved used but you should get the bottom lot in the leather pouch they are standard issue

Have you spoke to BMW as they will be able to give all the details about the car from new
 
Guys thanks very much for your help on this one. I have put this info to the dealership and am wating for them to get back to me.
