Just took the foam inserts out of my sound generator yesterday. Fired her up, zero difference. Pootled off down the road, zero difference. Basically drove normally for couple miles till engine warmed up, zero difference. Stopeed at lights onto duel carriageway, popped it in "sport". Lights went green. Floored it.

Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey C**p!!!!!!

It actaully made me jump the noise was so ferocious. Problem is I keep wanting to do it again now, what a noise! :rofl:

Have I reverted back to boy racer status? :cry: :P
 
It does sound good doesn't it... though the 'all foam out' high fades and you will most likely put at least one part of the foam back in when it gets annoying lol. Shame only the occupants can hear it!
 
be warned - i got 6 points a week after doing this.... first thing i did a was to stick half that foam back in :-) :rofl:

also bought one of these http://www.roadpilot.com/roadpilot/micro.asp £59 maplin it continues to sound even after the year free subscription is up but of course you dont get the new locations. - i put it above and behind the interior mirror and wired into the 12v for the mirror electronics - best £59 quid spent. That was 4 years ago - foam out now for the last 3 you can just about here this over full throttle :driving: .
