Had a Z4 for 2 trouble free happy years and found servicing costs etc. excellent at local dealer. Free chauffeured transport to and from if needed, coffee, TV , Wifi, mini valet as you would reasonably expect, all thrown in and prices not at all bad.
Moved to Merc C250 AMG saloon, nice car, which now needs first year service. £281 to drop it off and collect it later but £301 to sit in their lounge while I wait! To be fair I do get a reserved parking space and my own personal service manager. Parking space when car is over an inspection pit???? £321 if I have a courtesy car. That to mind mind is just taking the ****.
Needless to say I will be taking it across the road to a Merc independent I used when I had an E Class and Boxster. Less trimmings but considerably less cost.
Just to confirm. I assume I am OK for not infringing warranty, provided Merc parts used if needed, correct oil used and everything fully documented on the invoice?
