Hi

Has anyone got an old long aerial hidden away they no longer need ? Mine has perished

Thanks

Perfect time to switch to a stubby I'd say :poke: :fuelfire:

I know but I keep reading mixed reviews on here about signal and can someone yank a stubby off ? (Sounds wrong). :D

Loads on eBay!

I'd of said that a whippy is more prone to being "yanked off " imo, as to signal strength, I don't generally have a problem in that department but it's not a DD so not essential to my driving experience.

I believe the stubby is only for AM anyway, the FM aerial is located behind the rear bumper connected to the rear crash bar.... so people saying it's affected radio 1 reception etc..... are talking rubbish

Although I could be wrong.

Well, I ordered the stubby, the stubby was delivered and the stubby was fitted.

Incidentally , I tested the fm signal without any aerial and it made no difference. As suggested, the fm aerial in behind the bumper.

So after the sleepless nights deciding do I don't I, I'm happy!
